Jennifer Stern Jennifer C. Stern is the Chief Executive Officer of The Morton Center, a not-for-profit outpatient treatment center for the diseases of alcoholism and other chemical dependencies. The Morton Center has four locations: Louisville, Lexington, Paducah and Crestview Hill in Northern Kentucky, and a clinical staff of twenty six. Ms. Stern was formerly program director for adult and adolescent outpatient treatment programs at Our Lady of Peace. She has extensive experience working with addiction recovery programs and program development. A registered nurse, Ms. Stern also has a wide range of experience dealing with clinicians, medical providers and consultants within the recovery field. Ms. Stern is a member of the 843 Commission, a body appointed by the governor to advise Kentucky lawmakers and the executive branch on mental health issues in the state; co-founder of People Advocating Recovery, a state-wide advocacy group seeking to remove barriers to treatment and improving quality of life for addicts in Kentucky; a member and co-founder of Addiction Recovery Advocates of Kentuckiana and a past board member of the St. John’s Center. |
